2026 NASCAR Cup Series schedule guide

The Cup calendar is NASCAR's top-series road map from the opening exhibitions and Daytona 500 through the regular season, playoffs and championship. This tool keeps confirmed starts, TV coverage, completed races and weekend hubs in one Cup-only view.

Regular season, playoffs and exhibitions

The season has 36 points races, with the final 10 forming the Cup playoffs. The Clash, Daytona Duels and All-Star Race can also appear because fans need those dates even though they do not all award points like a normal race.

Where to watch Cup races

Cup coverage moves through FOX and FS1, Prime Video, TNT Sports, USA Network, NBC and Peacock during different stretches. Check the Watch field instead of assuming the same channel every Sunday.

From quick answer to race weekend

The card gives the date, local green-flag time, track and TV. Weekend hub adds practice, qualifying, lineup, track facts and results when supplied.

Quick answers

NASCAR Cup Series schedule FAQ

How many NASCAR Cup Series races are in 2026?

There are 36 Cup points races. This fan schedule can also show exhibitions and Daytona qualifying events because they are important Cup dates even when they do not count as normal points races.

Where can I watch Cup races?

Check Watch on each race card. Cup coverage changes network and streaming partner across the season, so there is no single channel for every race.

When do the NASCAR Cup playoffs start?

The 10-race playoffs begin at Darlington on September 6 and end with the championship at Homestead-Miami on November 8.

Are race times shown in my timezone?

Yes. Confirmed green-flag times convert automatically to your device timezone, with ET as the no-script fallback.
